The first Big Gay Day took place in Auckland on Easter Sunday, celebrated New Zealand's rainbow communities. It was a massive success, with around 1,200 people filling Beresford Square throughout the day. Attendees were kept entertained by an amazing line-up, that included New Zealand band Ardijah, Buckwheat, Steven Oates, Polly Petrie, Cindy of Samoa, popular DJs and many others.
The Get it On! Manu Dolls and the Bro Online boys were out in force, mingling with the crowd and handing out Get it On! condom packs to everyone who came along.
